From working with companies such as Hyundai and doTERRA to creating outstanding visual effects for HBO’s “The Last of Us,” Avalanche Studios has proven to be a highly trusted video production company not only in our hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, but throughout the world. The Telly Awards’ Gold Telly Award

In 2022, Avalanche Studios’ promotional video for A&K Railroad was added to the recipient list of the Gold Telly Awards. With commanding sound design, dynamic drone footage, and an original flair, the A&K Railroad promo video is a prized production of Avalanche Studios. We’re honored to be given the Gold Telly Award once again, and we hope to deliver further distinguished video projects in the future.

Desertscape International Film Festival’s Best Documentary

The Desertscape International Film Festival (DIFF) is an invigorating cinematic experience for new talents and established filmmakers. DIFF features screenings, discussions, workshops, and other events that support a diverse international film community. Avalanche Studios’ very own “Dog Valley” was a recipient of DIFF’s Best Documentary.

Kanab Film Fest’s Best Documentary

The Kanab Film Fest is a southern Utah film festival featuring independent films from around the world. From heartfelt documentaries to unique student movies, the Kanab Film Fest screens diverse films that aim to leave an impact and promote action. Avalanche was recognized by the Kanab Film Fest for our powerful storytelling, expert directing, and a strong casting in the production of  “Dog Valley,” a gut-wrenching film documenting the 1988 murder of gay college student, Gordon Church.

Salt Lake’s Chamber Champion

In 2018 Avalanche Studios’ creative director, Jason Conforto, was added to the list of one of Salt Lake’s Chamber Champions. Jason is a leading filmmaker with a knack for writing, directing, and producing, and has fun while doing it. Due to his support of the local business industry and consistent community involvement, Jason is one of Salt Lake’s Chamber Champions.

The Telly Awards’ Gold Telly Award

The Telly Awards annually screens top-notch work created within the world of television across video format. With over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, Telly Award Winners represent top-tier advertising agencies, authors, and production companies worldwide. Avalanche Studios received the Gold Telly Award due to our Utah.com commercial showcasing Utah’s beautiful scenery and rugged red rocks.

Salt Lake’s Chamber Champion

The Salt Lake Chamber is Utah’s long-standing business association with a vision to serve Utah’s primary business leaders by encouraging statewide affluence. Our founder, Dave Lindsay, was given this award because of the time and hard work he’s dedicated to seeing the success of business leaders in Utah.
